Pool of a Mother's Tears

It's only the 18th of November and I'm finished. It seems fitting somehow that I finished this page on my daughter Michelle's birthday. She would have been 35 today. I believe working on this has helped me weather my November bout of depression. I can't kid myself that it will never return. I'm more realistic than that, I hope. In actual fact, I enjoyed working on this page.
I borrowed some ideas from all of you and will probably borrow more as time goes by. I included some thread embroidery this time. It's nice to know I haven't forgotten everything my grandmother taught me. Used to do tea towels and pillowcases when I was young. I'm anxious to get on with my next page.

What can I say -- this piece and the reason behind it has touched my heart so much already. This page is so full of depth, color, and movement and so very lovely . . .

Thank you all for your kind comments. Working on this page helped me get through what is traditionally a bad time. I spent Thanksgiving with my daughter's two sons (14 and 18) and their little brother who is 8. I am so blessed to have them nearby and be able to spend time with them. While there have been a few tears this month, it has been much better than in the past. Thank you all for your support. I can't tell you how much it means to me.
