I had no idea when I started the Bead Journal Project a year ago, what an impact it would have on my life. In many ways it changed how I think about my art. I love bead embroidery and I am constantly trying to think of new ways to use it. I also hope to incorporate more things into my BJP pages in the next year. I want to explore using different fabrics, papers, etc in my work. I also want to add some polymer clay and found objects.
All in all, I'm a very happy camper these days.

It has been quite a journey with BJP. I miss it now, so will sign up again. That is why my blog seems to be bead things this week. I'm glad you like my bracelet/necklace.
It will be fun to see what new things you do in the coming BJP year.
Isn't it great that we've stretched so far over the last 12 months?
And I say a resounding YES for incorporating all kinds of mixed media in the pages.
