Finished Hand

Whoo Hoo! Finished it. I'm happy with the way it turned out. I'm going to make one on a cobalt backround that will be less encrusted. It will have Boy-type charms and be done in primary colors. I just want students to be able to picture several different types of beading for this project.
Now back to my April page for BJP.

What a clever idea. I'll have to get prints from my grandchildren. Thanks for visiting my blog. I've been lucky to be in so many inspiring classes.

This came out very nice! How big is it??

The pink square is approximately 4x4". The little girl is 3 years old. I will be doing a newborn's handprint soon.

I love your hand. I am new to bead embroidery and I'd had been toying with the idea of doing a hand. Now that I've seen yours, I think it's the right way to go! Thanks, Gale

Your beading is awesome! I love the idea of a childs handprint! I am also thinking of doing a doll for the next one also...

Oh Arline, that turned out pretty. Isn't it fun doing hands? I have a hand on my blog somewhere. Who picked the colours?
Cheers, Denise

Thank you all.
Gale: I love bead embroidery. This hand only used four stitches. Go for it.

Denise: I picked the colors. Since it is my class sample, I had my friend who works in a Day Care draw me some hands. I wanted to do at least one "girly" one. Later this weekend I'll post the one I did for a boy.

Great hand! That's not a bad idea, making handprints of the grandkids (Christmas gift for my daughter??)!

Love your new banner. I don't seem to like change or maybe so much change comes I like some things to stay still so I don't change my page much. Hopefully I don't get too boring!!!

Freebird,

It's fun doing the hands.

I changed the blog because I wasn't satisfied with the way it looked. It's better now, I think. I read your blog everyday, so it must not be too boring. LOL
